A prolific actor with more than 80 projects in about thirty years of career, Clovis Cornillac is distinguished by the eclecticism of his artistic choices: from Un long dimanche de fiançailles by Jean-Pierre Jeunet in 2004 to Brice de Nice the following year, he also played alongside Catherine Corsini, Guillaume Nicloux, Éric Lavaine, Claude Chabrol, Christophe Barratier and Dominique Farrugia. He was nominated at Les Césars in 2000 for Karnaval by Thomas Vincent and obtained the famous statuette for Mensonges et trahisons et plus si affinité by Laurent Tirard in 2005. He is again nominated in 2019 for Les chatouilles directed by Andréa Bescond and Éric Métayer in competition for the Caméra d’Or in Cannes and many times selected in film festivals in 2018.


Also a director, Clovis Cornillac came to present at Les Arcs Film Festival his second film Belle et Sébastien 3: le dernier chapitre in 2017.
