Youth Selection
Each year, we carefully select between 6 and 8 films for younger audiences, from preschool to high school. Screenings tailored to each level are offered to schools in the canton and beyond, to introduce pupils to the joys of cinema. The programme has been drawn up in partnership with the Savoie school inspectorate.
Each screening is presented by a festival moderator, in the presence of the film crews whenever possible, so that pupils can discuss all the stages involved in filmmaking and the challenges of the film industry. The films are accompanied by educational resources on request.
“JUST LIKE HOME” SCREENING (CALM)
The “Just Like Home” screening, organized in partnership with the Handi Pep’s association, invites you to share a cinema experience in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where everyone, with or without a disability, is accepted and respected as they are. Just like at home, each person can enjoy the film in their own way: you may enter and leave during the screening, talk, or move around, and the lighting will be dimmed.
The “Just Like Home” screening is scheduled for Saturday, December 13th at 10:30 AM at La Scène, with the film Olivia by Irène Iborra.
Ciné des tout-petits
This winter, come and enjoy a wonderful family moment with a dreamy little penguin in the short film Le Pingouin by Pascale Hecquet. A small musical comedy accompanied by story readings and fun activities.
Two screenings are scheduled:
- Tuesday, December 16 at 10:00 AM at Le Splendid Cinema in Val d'Isère
- Wednesday, December 17 at 11:00 AM at Cœur d’Or Cinema in Bourg Saint Maurice
For children aged 2 and up
Sound and lighting adapted for very young children
In partnership with “Le Jardin des Mômes” of Haute-Tarentaise.
Special “Planètes” Screening !
Join us on Wednesday, December 17 at 2:00 PM at the Cœur d’Or Cinema for a special screening of the animated film Planètes by Momoko Seto.
