GETTING AROUND LES ARCS
The three main sites are Bourg Saint Maurice (venues: La Scène / Espace Savoy and Le Cœur d’Or cinema), Arc 1800 (Bernard Taillefer Center), and Arc 1950 / 2000 (Salle des Festivals). There are plenty of options available to help you travel between these locations!
THE FUNICULAR
A funicular railway departs from the Bourg-Saint-Maurice train station and connects to Arc 1600 in just 7 minutes!
Free for pass and accreditation holders and the panoramic view is absolutely breathtaking!

THE SHUTTLES
From the funicular arrival station, free shuttles running from Les Arcs 1600 to Les Arcs 1800, 1950, and 2000 are available to help you move between the resorts.
The Arc 1600 / Arc 1800-1950-2000 schedules for the 2026 edition will soon be available on the Les Arcs website.
Free shuttles are also specially set up for the Festival between December 13th and 19th, allowing you to travel from Arc 1800 to Arc 2000 and enjoy all the screenings.
Coming for the opening weekend? If you arrive in Bourg Saint Maurice on December 12th at 7:58 PM (via the direct Paris - Bourg Saint Maurice train leaving Gare de Lyon at 2:47 PM), direct shuttles to Arc 1800 or Arc 2000 will be available! The shuttles will be waiting for you right outside the train station.
THE CAR
To get here, follow the RN 90 highway to Bourg Saint Maurice, then take the road from Bourg Saint Maurice up to Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950, and Arc 2000.
Special snow equipment is required when driving in the area!
For electric and hybrid cars, the municipality of Bourg Saint Maurice has 27 charging stations available.
CARPOOLING
Carpooling is an affordable and eco-friendly way to travel to Les Arcs, while meeting new people who share your passion for cinema.
The benefits of carpooling:
- Reserved parking spots right in front of the cinemas
- Discounted rates upon presenting a selfie taken in the car (minimum of 3 people)
- It doesn't cost anything extra to share the ride and you can even save a little money for popcorn!
- Chat about the movies on the way back and make new friends among your neighbors
In short, it’s a win-win!
Want to offer an empty seat in your car or find a ride? Give carpooling a try for the festival! Once again this year, we are keeping things simple, direct and practical with WhatsApp groups. If you are offering or looking for a ride in your area, just join one of these groups. You can mute it when you're busy and check it the rest of the time!

You can obviously ski or snowboard to get between the different sites!

CYCLING
While cycling might not be the most obvious way to get around Les Arcs, you can easily travel by bike in the town of Bourg Saint Maurice, where the roads are clearer of snow. This allows you to cycle right up to the Le Cœur d’Or cinema, where a bike parking area is available for you.
