The Arcs Film Festival unveils its 2026 poster!
September 16, 2026
As it approaches its 18th edition, the Arcs Film Festival is set to bring the Savoyard resort to life with the best of European cinema. This year’s festival will celebrate humanity and vitality, all set against the backdrop of an exceptional Alpine landscape!
The poster for the 18th edition has been unveiled!
Twilight or dawn? Whether read from top to bottom or bottom to top, the poster for the 18th edition of the Arcs Film Festival depicts a moonrise or moonset behind our snow-capped mountains, at that uncertain hour when day and night merge; twilight for some, dawn for others, warmed by a sun that colors the atmosphere with its first or last rays.
As we navigate this pivotal moment, everyone will project their own sense of the times onto it: the end of a cycle or the promise of a new day. The moon symbolizes the white screen in a darkened theater, the starry sky of the mind as it soars toward infinity, all captured in a strip of images reminiscent of the sequence that creates animation.
It is an invitation to come together in our mountains, to escape for a magical and enchanted week.
The poster was designed by Virginie Foubert.
