Ciné-Concert

"THE LITTLE VERONIQUE" BY ROBERT LAND - MUSIC BY MIRA LU KOVACS

For the 3rd time, the Arcs Film Festival is organizing a Ciné-Concert with an original creation presented as a world premiere!

On the occasion of putting the spotlight on Austrian cinema as part of the Alpine focus, we have chosen "La Petite Véronique" by Robert Land, a classic of Austrian silent cinema from 1930.

It will be set to music by the very talented Austrian artist Mira Lu Kovacs, who won two Amadeus Austrian Music Awards in 2022, the most prestigious awards for music in Austria. Guitarist and virtuoso composer, her universe mixes folk, jazz, pop and electronic music through her various projects.

Screening at the Cœur d'Or in Bourg Saint-Maurice on Tuesday, December 13 at 8:30PM!

CINÉ-CONCERT
Tuesday December 13th • Bourg-Saint-Maurice

What Mira Lu Kovacs has created both on stage and on record over the past few years is of such great stylistic variety that genre definitions are moot.
A vagueness of some kind leaves room for the instrumental virtuosity, compositional originality and the stories told through her music
After three albums released under the stage name SCHMIEDS PULS and the spectacular experience of the supergroup 5KHD, she established herself as a master of her craft, awarded with two Amadeus Austrian Music Awards, among other distinctions.
