AWARDS
- ArteKino International
An award of 6.000 euros is allocated by ArteKino International to one of the selected projects.
The 2022 award is granted to The Visitor by Vytautas Katkus, produced by M-Films (Lithuania).
The jury was composed of Rémi Burah (President of ArteKino Foundation and CEO of Arte France Cinema).
The Jury’s motivation to this grant is the following:
"For this 2022 edition, the ArteKino International Award supports a first feature by a director walking the line between fiction and documentary, social realism and fantastic poetry, with a subtle balance that he has demonstrated in his already very mastered short films.”
Projects awarded in previous editions:
2021 - Solitude by Ninna Pálmadóttir produced by Pegasus Pictures (Iceland) and coproduced by MP Film Production (Croatia)
2020 - Le Plus Vivant Possible/Most Alive by Delphine Girard (Belgium)
2019 - Rabia by Mareike Engelhardt (Germany)
2018 - Other People by Aleksandra Terpinska (Poland) and Vaurien by Peter Dourountzis (France)
