  • Eurimages Co-production Development Award

For the first time in 2024, the Industry Village will have the honor to welcome the Co-production Development Award. Eurimages will grant a €20,000 award to one of the projects selected in the Coproduction Village. All projects will be eligible (except UK & Malta projects).

  • ArteKino International Award

An award of €6,000 is handed by ArteKino International to one of the selected projects.

In 2023, the award was granted to the project Kingdom of the Blind by François Robic (France), produced by Moderato (France).

The jury was composed of Rémi Burah (President of ArteKino Foundation and CEO of Arte France Cinéma) and Malo Jacquemin (ArteKino International).

The jury’s motivation for this grant is the following: “We are thrilled to reward a first time movie director with an already strong experience with few shorts and who has developed an original story exploring the thriller genre in a very creative and sensitive way, keeping it off the beaten path.”

Projects awarded in previous editions:

  • 2022 - The Visitor by Vytautas Katkus, produced by M-Films (Lithuania).
  • 2021 - Solitude by Ninna Pálmadóttir produced by Pegasus Pictures (Iceland)
  • 2020 - Le Plus Vivant Possible/Most Alive by Delphine Girard (Belgium), released in 2023 under the name Through the Night
  • 2019 - Rabia by Mareike Engelhardt (Germany)
  • 2018 - Other People by Aleksandra Terpinska (Poland) and Vaurien by Peter Dourountzis (France)

Two Producers Network badges for the next edition of the Marché du Film were attributed to two Industry Village producers : Heather Millard - Compass Films (Iceland) and Gijs Kerbosch - Halal (Netherlands).

For its 15th edition, Les Arcs Coproduction Village will present 18 European feature film projects in development or financing. This section of the Industry Village aims at helping the projects to find coproducers, sales agents, distributors and other financing partners. In total, 269 projects have been received and considered and the selection includes 15 different countries.

This year's selection in the Coproduction Village is a 50/50 one, with 9 projects helmed by female filmmakers and 9 by men, while we received only 36% applications of projects directed by women. 10 are first fiction feature projects, 5 second features and 3 by more established filmmakers.
