A young singer revealed in 1987, Vanessa Paradis quickly entered the world of cinema and won the César for most promising actress for her first role in 1990 in Jean-Claude Brisseau’s Noce blanche. The following year, she won the Romy Schneider Award as an actress recognized by the profession and collected collaborations with renowned filmmakers: Patrice Leconte (Une chance pour deux and La fille sur le pont), Jean Becker (Élisa), Guillaume Nicloux (La Clef), Pascal Chaumeil (L'Arnacoeur), Guillaume Galienne (Maryline), Anne Le Ny (Cornouaille), or even with the Lithuanian Šarūnas Bartas for Frost in 2017. In 2012, she won the Cabourg Festival’s Swann of Honour, and was rewarded at the Brooklyn Festival for her performance in Yann Gonzalez’s Un couteau dans le cœur in 2018.


Vanessa Paradis came to Les Arcs in 2017 to present Chien Samuel Benchetrit’s film with Vincent Macaigne.
