Ramzy Bedia

Actor and director, France

Half of the comic duo Eric & Ramzy revealed at the end of the 90’s by Canal +, Ramzy Bédia and his partner cultivate a close relationship since then and collaborated on more than twenty projects and went so far as to make a dual directed film: Seul Two in 2008. The undeniable comic potential of Ramzy Bédia has earned him many roles in cinema over the past 20 years, notably alongside Djamel Bensalah, with whom he collaborated in 4 crazy comedies, but also in front of the camera of Quentin Dupieux (Steak), Radu Mihaileanu (Le Concert), Jalil Lespert (Des vents contraires) and Jeanne Balibar (Merveilles à Montfermeil). The comedian has several strings to his bow, and is also a screenwriter: from the emblematic series of his debut H, to his comedy Hibou directed solo in 2016, or the cult film La Tour Montparnasse infernale by Claude Némès in 2001.

In 2016, he came to present the French drama by Olivier Peyon, Une vie ailleurs, andwas also the president of our short film jury in 2018 and thus rewarded the British film The girl with two heads by Betzabé Garcia.
