On Friday evening, the first guests to arrive in Les Arcs had dinner at the restaurant Le Savoy in Arc 2000. Guillaume Nicloux, Santiago Amigorena, Atiq Rahimi, Frédéric Chau, Grégory Montel and many other were there!

Saturday morning, the jurors Guillaume Nicloux, Antoine Reinartz, Santiago Amigorena and Atiq Rahimi; our guests Frédéric Chau and Grégory Montel as well as our artistic director Frédéric Boyer were interviewed by Sylvia Depierre on France Bleu Pays de Savoie at the Bistrot Alpin!

Alongside Claude Duty (president of the organizing association Révélations Culturelles) and co-founders Guillaume Calop (general manager) and Pierre-Emmanuel Fleurantin (CEO): Guillaume Nicloux opened the 11th edition of Les Arcs Film Festival at the Bernard Taillefer Centre.

Régis Roinsard's The Translators opened the 11th edition of Les Arcs Film Festival! The director and his actors Lambert Wilson, Riccardo Scamarcio, Alex Lawther, Anna Maria Sturm, Frédéric Chau and Maria Leite as well as the film's producer Alain Attal were at Arc 1800 to present this thrilling thriller!

Saturday night, the Manoir Savoie plunged into the unique and organic nu disco of The Supermen Lovers before La Chica halfway between Latin America and Paris, Belleville shared with us her collages of sound textures breaking established codes. The best way to start the week: dancing!

On Sunday, European film institutes and festivals met at a Lab workshop to think about a better European cooperation on gender equality issues in cinema.

Les Arcs it is also about ten previews every year, like Marion Laine's film Voir le jour starring Sandrine Bonnaire, Aure Atika, Sarah Stern and Lucie Fagedet.

Femmes de Cinéma Award

On Sunday evening, British director Sarah Gavron was awarded with the "Sisley/ Les Arcs Femmes de Cinema" prize by Philippe d'Ornano, president of Sisley. The screening of her film Rocks, presented as part of the official competition and awarded at the end of the week the Grand Prix du Jury, followed the ceremony!

On Monday lunchtime, the feature film jury, the cast of the film The Translatorsand the Femmes de Cinéma delegation had lunch on the sunny terrace of the restaurant of Arc 2000!

The ski slalom competition, which has become a cult event, took place on Monday night on one of the slopes of Arc 1950!

On Tuesday, the professionals met at the 2134 rooftop for the traditional snack: Wine, Oysters & Cheese!

The traditional breakfast at 3226 meters altitude took place as every year at the top of the Aiguille Rouge! Isabelle Huppert, Gaspard Ulliel and our jurors were there!

A special event was organized on Tuesday evening, with: the awarding of the "Cinema and Environmental Commitment" Prize to the team of the film Au nom de la Terre.
Then, a public debate took place around the role of cinema in raising environmental awareness.

A masterclass of Julie Gayet animated by our partners of Horschamp has been organized on Wednesday!
We also programmed her documentary: FilmmakErs, a film that gives voice to women directors around the world.
