Cédric Kahn made several films such as Trop de Bonheur (Jean Vigo Prize in 1994), L'ennui (Louis Delluc Prize in 1998), Roberto Succo (selected in the official competition in Cannes and nominated twice at Les César in 2002). More recently, he was awarded the Special Jury Prize at the San Sebastian Festival in 2014 for Vie Sauvage, he was also selected – in 2018- in Berlin (where the actor received a Silver Lion) and nominated at Les César in 2019 for La prière. In 2012, Cédric Kahn also received the France Culture prize for his entire body of work. Having many strings to his bow, the director has also been an actor on several occasions: we were able to see him in front of Joachim Lafosse’s camera with Bérénice Bejo in L'économie du couple in 2016 or in Cold War by Polish director Pawel Pawlikowski in 2018.


Cédric Kahn was selected in competition at Les Arcs Film Festival in 2011 with his film Une vie meilleure and as president of the jury in 2014, he awarded the Russian film The Fool by Yuriy Bykov.
