Who we are

Les Arcs European Film Festival

Located in the Alps, in one of the most beautiful ski resorts in the world, the Festival gives you both the chance to enjoy the first snows of the year and to attend screenings all day long in the presence of their crews. Unforgettable parties, special events, concerts and DJ sets are also organized at night!

The Festival offers an ambitious program, mostly French premieres. More than 120 films, all European (Turkey and Russia included), will be screened in the 8 screening rooms of the resort:

Being green at Les Arcs European Film Festival

Aware of the festival’s impact on the environment, the team tries daily to make the festival greener by recycling garbage, using recycled paper, recycling toner etc. Furthermore, we compensate for our carbon consumption by donating to the association “Action Carbone“ (which is standing for a greener world, www.actioncarbone.org)

In 2015, the energy consumption of the festival was estimated as accurately as possible by taking into account the paper consumption, all the travelling of the team’s members and the festival’s guests once they were in France and our electricity consumption. The festival’s partners and guests’ consumption before they arrived in France were not taken into account. To be as accurate as possible, 10% was added to the festival’s final consumption.

The festival compensated for 47,9 tons of carbon consumption in 2014.
